With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Prescott Maloney (Auburn, Maine), who passed away on April 9, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Thomas Maloney (Jack) and Margaret Prescott Fogg Maloney. He is survived by: his wife Carlene Mower of Lewiston; his children, Bonnie Lynn Maloney Lash (Neil Lash) of Waldoboro, John Alan Maloney (Connie Pontbriand) of Turner, Joseph Prescott Maloney Jr. (Valerie Morris) of Auburn, Daniel Charles Maloney (Lisa Knowles) and James David Maloney (Philip Judson) of New York; and his grandchildren, Scott Lash, Cheryl Lash, Matthew Lash, William Redmun III, Heather Maloney, Robert Lash, Matthew Maloney, Ellen Maloney and Mary Maloney. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
