She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett WardwellJean and Winnifred WardwellJean (Matthews); her son Michael Hodgkins; her former husband Merle Hodgkins (Jack Bray); her son-in-law Joseph Childs; and her siblings, Rodney Wardwell and Rita Bailey.
She is survived by: her close friend Jack; her daughters, Merle Hagelin Hoover (John), Stephanie Worthing (Scott) and Darcie Childs (Al Croteau); her grandchildren, Chris Hagelin (Lauren), Jesyca Hagelin Hafernan (Ben), Michael Pratt (Stephanie), Deidre Gilbert (Mark) and Kaytlen Davis; and also, Drs James and Lidstone.
