It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Chaplin (Auburn, Maine), who passed away on May 26, 2018, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Jr. and Virginia Tufts Chaplin Jr.; his wife Diane of Auburn; his son John of East Boston; his sisters, Sarah Isaacson and Anne Chaplin Gould; his aunt Elizabeth Goodrich of Maine; and also Jay Midgette of Massachusetts. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Jim requested in lieu of flowers that those wishing to honor his memory can do so with charitable contributions to The First Universalist Church, to benefit their humanitarian good works through The Chaplin Family Fund.
