He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Obie and Melvina Obie (DeRosay); and his brothers-in-law, George Raymond and Normand Dallaire. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Obie; his children, Paul Obie (Rhonda), Dianne Wallace (Dwight "Ike") and Monita Obie; his grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicholas Obie, Heather Precopio (Joe Moriarty), Jennifer Marro and Rachel Ortiz; his great grandchildren, Brook, Patrick, Carl and Dominic; his sisters, Rita Raymond, Betty Dallaire and Linda Agren (Don); and his pet Anna.
