He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Deraps and Yvette Deraps (Maltese); his wife Doris Dionne; his daughters, Jolline Soule and Elaine Deraps; and his siblings, Alphie Deraps and Rita Lavoie.

He is survived by: his children, Diane Gendron, Denise Morin (Paul), Ronald Deraps, Lisa Shorette, Marc Deraps and Peter Deraps (Jennifer Lessard); and his sisters, Theresa Lapoint, Constance Theriault and Joline Dery. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
