He was predeceased by: his parent Alma Johns (Lane); and his wife Patricia H. Wallace. He is survived by: his children, Charles R. Lane, Jr. of Minot, Edith Dostie (Francis) of Minot, Angelica Bosworth (Peter) of Blaine, Rebecca Michaud (Rick) of Poland, Henrietta Lane-Payne (Gordon), Shirley Caruso (Joe) and Raymond Lane; and his pet Frida. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
