She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Shaunesey and Eleanor Shaunesey Sr. (Varney); and her brother Irving Shaunesey Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Herman Gatchell; her children, Herman Gatchell Jr. of Auburn, Todd Gatchell (Nancy) of Poland and Kelly Procter (David) of Tyngsboro, MA; her sister-in-law Margaret Bernhardt of North Conway, NH; and her grandchildren, Ashley Wescott (Nicholas) of Gray, Chelsea Gosselin (Christopher) of Minot, Andrew Gatchell (Katelynn) of Hebron, Nathaniel Procter (Kelsey) of Belchertown, MA, Benjamin Procter (Luna) of Boston, MA and Samuel Procter of Tyngsboro, MA. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gracelawn Memorial Park (980 Turner St, Auburn, ME 04210).
