He was predeceased by: his parents, Raoul Forgues and Zephirina Forgues (Lafond); his brothers, Roland Forgues, Gerard Forgues and Raoul Forgues Jr.; his cousin Louise Forgues; his parents-in-law, Fernand and Lina Landry; his sister-in-law Lorraine Landry; his nephew Raymond Landry; and his close friend Normand Dozois.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Libby; his wife Muriel Landry of Lewiston; his children, Michelle (Carlton) of Raleigh, NC and Stephen (Keri); his grandsons, Matthew (Libby) and Paul Forgues; his brother-in-law Joseph Landry (Lewella); his nephews, Mark, Paul, John, Thomas and Antonio Landry; his friend Joan Dozois; and his family, Michael and Celina.
