It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berniece Hodgkin of Auburn, Maine, who passed away on October 20, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maynard R. Young, Sr. and Ruth Barrows Young; her daughters, Marcia Hennessey (Tom) of Raymond, ME, Karen Paulsen (Leigh) of Estero, FL and Lynne Sayre (Stuart) of Cape Elizabeth, ME; her great grandchildren, Amy Bergeron Desmarais (Bill) and Edward Chervenak (Regina Violette); her children, Scarlett, Sebastian Chervenak (Alexa Violette Roy) of Lewiston, ME and Melissa Wood (Steve); her grandchildren, Ayla, Cole and Ella of Manchester, NH; her daughter Elizabeth Lodge (Andy); her grandson William of Liverpool, NY; her son Jacob Paulsen (Saralyn); her grandson Mason of Concord, NH.; and also, Spencer and Shane Bergeron of Saco, ME.
