She was predeceased by: her parents, James Baxter and Mildred Baxter; her sister Judi Wood; and her grandson Benjamin Blais. She is survived by: her children, Laurie McAlister, Michael Blais, Gina Karkos and Shane Blais; and her grandchildren, Danielle Whittier, Sarah Merrill, Kyle Verrill, Elizabeth Hutchinson and Kenneth Karkos. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
