Helen McLennan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen McLennan (Ashland, Maine), born in Washburn, Maine, who passed away on December 25, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Cox and Eva Belle Cheney (Getchell); her husband Richard McLennan; her children, Norma McLennan Forbes and Grant Keith McLennan; and her siblings, Polly Cheney Howard, William Glen Cheney and Philip Robert Cheney.

She is survived by: her daughter Nola McLennan Keenan of Presque Isle; her son-in-law Howard Forbes of Homer, Ala; her grandchildren, Jodi Smith Bolduc (Art), Angelia Forbes of Soldotna, Ala, Alicia Forbes of Kenai, Ala, Grant Clark (Kristen), Reed Clark (Abby) and Chloe McLennan of Portland; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Kaeden Bolduc of Moses Lake, Roman McLennan of Portland, Emma Birdie Hill of Soldotna, Ala and Wilson Clark of Mapleton.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen's name may be made to the Portage Lake Snowmobile Club or Ashland Snowmobile Club.
