She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn MacDonald and Laura MacDonald (Guiggy); her son Keith Melvin; and her siblings, Clarence, Harold, Doug MacDonald, Gladys Underhill, Hazel McDougall, Elva Brigs, Rena McNeill and Helen Kinney.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney A. Carney of Ashland; her children, Cheryl Martin (Marc) of Ashland and Kenneth Melvin of Presque Isle; her stepchildren, Torrey Carney of Melbourne, FL, Buffy Carney of Frederickton and Justin Carney (Alyssa) of Washburn; and her sister Shirley Bubar of Ontario, Canada. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
