It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darthea F. Drew (Alfred, Maine), born in Biddeford, Maine, who passed away on June 7, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Miriam Bryant and Preston T. Whitten; her husband Donald Frederick Drew; her children, John Drew (Miriam Pendleton), Karen Kardas (Stanley) and William Drew (Maureen Gates); her grandchildren, Leah Drew, Ben Drew (Rachel), Emily Drew, Eric Kardas (Kirsten Egerstrom), Sara Koval (George), Kathryn Kardas, Justin and Lindsey Drew; her great grandchildren, Vera Drew, William and Dylan Koval; and her siblings, Doris Drew of Bristol, RI, George L. Grant of Steep Falls, Miriam Fontaine, Kathryn Keyes and Preston Whitten.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 80 Pleasant Hill Rd., Hollis, ME 04042.
