It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Basil B. Barnes Sr. of Albion, Maine, born in Freedom, Maine, who passed away on October 21, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gardner C. Barnes and Verda Barnes (Bailey); and his brother Gardner R. Barnes. He is survived by: his sons, Basil B. Barnes, Jr. (Jennie) and Ricky A. Barnes (Dawn); his close friend Marvel Hutchings; and his aunts, Rena Harding and Natalie Coro. He is also survived by many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Basil's memory to Albion Christian Church Burial Fund to help those who have lost a loved one.
