He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Annie; and his sister-in-law Rena Ames. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Thompson (Betty) of Addison; his sons, Peter Thompson Jr. of Connecticut and Frank Thompson (Heather) of Harrington; his grandsons, Spencer Thompson, Kayla Toppin of Harrington and Nathan Thompson of Harrington; his brother Earland Thompson of Addison; his mother-in-law Virginia Simmons of Sargentsville; his siblings-in-law, Julia Comeau (Herbert) of South Addison and Lawrence Torrey Jr.; his wife Glenda of Blue Hill; and his brother-in-law Timmy Torrey (Joan) of Hancock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
