He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Thaxter and Edna Thaxter (Higgins). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Thaxter (Bagley); his children, Dawn, Lawrence McManus, Darlene, Danny Stubbs and Morton "Danny" Thaxter Jr (Sheri); his grandchildren, Aimee, Tyler Wagner, Christopher McManus, Joshua, Jenn Stubbs, Derek Thaxter, Jared Thaxter and Kyle Thaxter; his great grandchildren, Landon Pinkham, Emily Pinkham, Ashley Stubbs, Logan Stubbs, Willow McManus and Aubree McManus; and his great great grandchild Hunter Pinkham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Parkinson's Foundation.
