He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Glen and Dorothy Shumate; his siblings, Robert Stanwood and Catherine Stanwood; his brothers-in-law, Tom Shumate, Harold West and Eddie Cirone; and his friends, Harvey, Mikey, Dan, Clyde, George and Tim.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Stanwood; his daughters, Cheryl McManus, Lisa (Ernest Cirone), Edie (George Adkins) and Camilla (Peter Dubail); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Amanda, Bryan, Steven, Ashley, Katie, Clare, Mystie, Natalie and Adam; his great grandchildren, Kylei, Joseph, Carsen, Caden, Aubrey, Lincoln, Micah, Grayson and Mila; his sisters, Ramona West, Donna Cirone and Diane; and his brother-in-law Bruce Morrone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered in his memory to the Union Church in South Addison, ℅ Harold Tyler, 326 Mooseneck Road.
