He was predeceased by: his father James Merrill Alley; his grandparents, Maynard, Florence Gray of Addison, Charles and Rita Alley; his aunt Beatrice Gray Huntley; his uncle Ralph Gray; and his parents-in-law, Keith and Daphene Crowley.
He is survived by: his mother Dorothy Gray Alley of Hancock; his wife Judy Crowley Handy; his daughter Donna Eldridge (Dave) of Bowdoin; his grandchildren, Emily Eldridge of Bowdoin, Eagan Eldridge (Cassy Kane) of Bowdoin and Elyssa Eldridge (Laughlin Hentz) of Bowdoin; his siblings, Donna F. Alley of Beals, Gail Fickett (David) of Harrington, Kathy Doyle (Richard) of Ellsworth, Karen Sawyer of Ellsworth, Rita Kelley of Florida, Gary Alley (Sharon McAuley) of Addison, Daniel Handy of Milbridge, Larry Alley (Adele) of Hermon, James Alley (Joelle) of Addison and Charles Alley (Libby) of Virginia; his siblings-in-law, Jean Crowley of Addison, Jessie Alley (William) of Addison, Jane Look, Keith "Ubbie" Crowley Jr. (Rebecca Skinner) of Addison and James Crowley (Becky White) of Addison; and his niece Holly Tyler of Addison. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
