She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hopkins and Anna Wilson Byard; her brother Sylvester Hopkins; and her granddaughter Jahmila Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Shirley; her sons, David Brown (Carolyn) of Jacksonville, FL, Keith Cannon, Sr. of Cartersville, GA and Terrance Hopkins (Shirley) of Chestertown, MD; her grandson Keith Cannon, Jr.; her stepdaughter Angela Blake (Alvin) of Chestertown, MD; her siblings, Romie Comegys of Big Woods, MD and June Lomax of Chestertown, MD; her granddaughter-in-law Janelle Cannon; and her close friends, Joyce Ann Hynson and Pat Russell. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, family and friends.
