It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Leroy Tate of Woodstock, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on July 14, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Tate and Hazel Boyd; and his siblings, Thomas Tate, James Tate, Jack Tate, Dorthy Williams and Hazel Cosner.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry M. Tate; his daughters, Sherry Bair (late Bruce) and Carolyn Robinson (William); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Hardy (Norman), Lauren Robinson, Mark Bair and Bruce Bair (Cathy); and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Logan Hardy, Annabella, Lindsey and Nicholas Bair. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
