Ruth Evon Heflin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Evon Heflin of Woodsboro, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on July 26, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Amon Edgar Esworthy and Ruth Ellen Esworthy (Long); her husband Alan Heflin; her children, John Trainor (Coleen), Angela Biggus (Bengie), Chad Heflin (Riann), Jennifer O'Shea (Eamon) and Mechele Lerczak (Sean); her grandchildren, Sontia Hewlett (Kemoy), Lauren Stapler (Daniel), Morgan Jean-Francois (Schadrack), Travis Spangler (Alexandra), Amaris Biggus (Tiana), Breanna Trainor, Serena Trainor, Caiden O'Shea, Emma Lerczak, Jaxon Heflin, Banan O'Shea, Harper Lerczak, Gavin Lerczak, Rohan O'Shea and Alana O'Shea; her great grandchildren, Kemoy Hewlett Jr., Jacob Stapler, Noah Stapler and Kieran Hewlett; and her siblings, Amon "Ed" Esworthy (Peggy) and Mary Derry (Denny). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews.
