It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Irene Linton (Woodsboro, Maryland), who passed away on October 22, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Irvin C. Linton; her parents, Gorman L. Harshman and Sadie Grace Nusbaum Harshman; her sons, Irvin "Buster" Linton and Donald "Butch" Linton; and her siblings, Dorothy Harshman, Mary Ellen Harshman, Hilda Etzler and Lloyd Harshman.

She is survived by: her children, Larry R. Linton of Jefferson, Mary Ann Persinger (Richard) of Johnsville and Ronald L. Linton (Darlene) of Harpers Ferry, WV; her daughter-in-law Janet Linton of Frederick; and her grandchildren, Don Linton, Wayne Persinger and Diana Gladhill. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
