In loving memory of Paul Edward Dayhoff of Woodsboro, Maryland, who departed this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 79. Paul Edward leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Dayhoff and Nettie Jackson Dayhoff; his former wife Cindy M. Dayhoff; his stepdaughter Kandi Clarke; and his siblings, Mary Rippeon, Mabel Berkheimer, Mildred Saylor, Franklin, Glenn and Wayne Dayhoff.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul E. Dayhoff Jr. (Francene) of Walkersville and Tony C. Dayhoff (Jeanne) of Bloomsburg; his stepchildren, Larry J. Bohn (Michelle) of Thurmont and Tammy S. Chapas (Brian) of Sheridan, IL; his grandsons, Maxwell, Travis and Toby Dayhoff; his stepgrandchildren, John, Brandon Boyer, Jerry Bohn, Cierra Banks, Danielle Thomas and Myranda Morris; his siblings, Ray Dayhoff (Sandy) of Walkersville, Ruth Lambert of Hanover and Shirley Baker of Keymar; and his sister-in-law Catherine Dayhoff. He is also survived by seven step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21798). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Rocky Hill Lutheran Church (10825 Coppermine Rd, Woodsboro, MD 21798).
