Gary Wayne Long Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary Wayne Long of Woodsboro, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Long and Hilda Mae Fogle Long; and his wife Susan "Susie" Long. He is survived by: his daughter Amber Long (Richard Stine); his stepdaughters, Candy, Holly McDonald and Courtenay Melvin; and his grandchildren, Gage, Ryder Stine, Chris Brashears and Taylor Laumann.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21798). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hartzler Funeral Home, PO Box 249, New Windsor, to help defray funeral expenses.
