We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2021, at the age of 87, Dorothy W. Dorsey of Woodsboro, Maryland, born in Frederick, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Wachter and Helen Summers Wachter; and her spouse Carroll Ray Dorsey. She is survived by: her son Michael Dorsey (Debbie) of Woodsboro; and her grandson Ray Dorsey (Katie) of Littlestown, PA.
The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 404 S. Main St., Woodsboro on Saturday, April 17 from 11 a. m. to 1 p. m., followed by a funeral service at 1p. m. Wearing of masks and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 10625 Old Frederick Rd., Thurmont, MD 21788.
