She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent DiGiovanna and Helen DiGiovanna; and her husband Donald. She is survived by: her children, James Writer (Susan) and Karen DiMartino (Joseph); her grandchildren, Kathleen Writer (Matt Kicinski), Helen Ezell (Quentin) and James Writer (Alyssa); and her great grandchildren, Koa and Kaia.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21701). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 7:30 PM at the Hartzler Funeral Home-Woodsboro (404 S Main St, Frederick, MD 21798).
