She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond C. Evans and Marie Lindsay Evans; her husband Stanley Fleming; her sisters, Rhoda Ripley and Evelyn Dayhoff; and her half-siblings, Helen Green and Wilbur Haines.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Ringley (Gary); her grandchildren, Ryan Ringley (Emily) and Kelly Ringley (Andy); her great grandchildren, Conner and Ridge; and her sister Shirley Harrison.

Per her wishes, her body was donated to science to the Anatomy Board of Maryland.
