He was predeceased by: his spouse Anna Belle Broyles; and his brother Donald E. Broyles. He is survived by: his children, Barry P. Broyles (Sherry), Steven K. Broyles and Deborah L. Cardillo; his grandchildren, Heidi, Daniel, Brittany, Meghan, Sean, Gavin, Andrew, Randall and Cameron; his nephew Kitty; and also, Sue, Donald and Sandy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Days End Farm Horse Rescue, 1372 Woodbine Rd., Woodbine, MD 21797.
