He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Schwartz; his children, Bernard Schwartz III, Christina Myers and Lindsey Patterson; his son-in-law Daniel Patterson; his sisters, Janet Clark and Edwina Whilden; and his grandchildren, Zachary Myers, Blake Patterson, Riley Patterson and Chase Patterson.
In lieu of sending flowers, donations can be made in Bernie's honor to either the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
