He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Henry Sr; his spouse Anna Elizabeth Hoke; and his sister Adelaide Virginia Ashburn. He is survived by: his parent Clara May Hoke; his children, Katherine J. Smith, Charles H. Hoke III, Richard W. Hoke, Anna M. LaMartina, Ernest J. Hoke and Susan C. Hoke; his sister Doris May Lough; and his child Rocky Point Dr.
