It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Elizabeth Smoot of Williamsport, Maryland, born in Augusta, West Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Preston Edward; and her brothers, Calvin Haines and Ralph Haines. She is survived by: her husband Glenmore F. "Glen" Smoot; her sons, Ron Smoot (Deb) of Hagerstown, MD and Kevin Smoot (Cristy) of Fairplay, MD; her grandchildren, Barry Smoot (Laura), Holly Reyes (Alex), Jeremy Smoot (Emily) and Julia Smoot; and her great grandchildren, Violet, Zoey, Dawson, Sofia and Tucker.
