She was predeceased by: her spouse Lauren L. Stephens; her parents, William Frederick and Effie Mae Gossard Socks; and her siblings, Jean Langenstein, Sharon Schrock and Robert Socks.
She is survived by: her children, Pam S. McDonald (Arch) and Lauren L. Stephens II (Lisa); her grandchildren, Sarah E. Mickanis (J. P.) and Connor P. Stephens; her great grandchildren, Hannah, Avery and Scarlett Mickanis; her siblings, Connie Perry, Alice Gettel (John), Clara Ann Buchanan, David Socks, Ronald Socks (Sue) and Glenda McLucas (Steve); and her siblings-in-law, Deborah Socks, Bucky Schrock and Jack Langenstein. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Stephen's name to her church, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
