He was predeceased by: his father Marvin David; and his wife Patricia Ann Hays (Byers). He is survived by: his children, Diana L. Hose (Denny), Brenda K. Clipp (Kevin) and R. David Hays (Teresa); and his caregivers, Misty, Jackie and Julie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and one aunt; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
