He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Eugene and Audrey Marie Socks Newlin. He is survived by: his close friend Crystal Bennett; his siblings, David, Ricky Newlin, Diana Henesy and Renee Kirby; and his nephew Tommy Newlin. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
