He was predeceased by: his parents, R. Lee Heishman and Margaret R. Heishman (Mongold); his wife Evelyn E. Heishman (Sirk); and his siblings, Virginia Junkins, Betty Allen, Paul and Ralph Heishman.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert L. Heishman III (Pat) of Knoxville, TN. and J. Kevin Heishman (Susan) of Short Gap, WV.; his grandchildren, Richard Heishman (Catherine), Keith Heishman (Jeannie), Curtis Heishman (Jinny), Kelli Heishman and Nicole Nau (Brandon); and his sister-in-law Edna Judy of Mount Storm, WV.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
