He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peter Sr. and Sylvia Arlene Step Gray; and his siblings, Elizabeth M. Gray, Betty J. Henry and John P. Gray, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janice LaRue Gossard Gray; his sons, Michael E. Gray (Clarissa) of Hagerstown, MD and Jeffrey A. Gray (Jennifer) of Clear Spring, MD; his grandchildren, Mandalyn Gray, Kourtney Gray and Kerrington Gray; and his great grandchild Duston A. Casey.
