He was predeceased by: his parents, Tracey Sheldon and Daniel Fitzgerald Vanderlyn; his wife Mary Vanderlyn (Bettie); and his children, Dan Vanderlyn and Linda Vanderlyn.
He is survived by: his son Barry Vanderlyn (Missy) of Greencastle; his granddaughters, Tracey Lescalleet (Cory) and Amber Reasner (Chase); his great grandchildren, Emma, Mason, Colson, Chloe and Keegan; and his sister-in-law Ann Maas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
