He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Martin and Catherine E. Byers Silvers; his wife Pearl Jane Silvers; his son Richard D. Silvers; and his siblings, Jack Silvers of Martinsburg, WV and June Monninger.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheri Hovermale (Darrell) of Williamsport, MD; his granddaughter Kristi Brooks (Mike) of Hagerstown, MD; his great grandchildren, Liam and Lucy Brooks; his granddaughter Lindsay Hovermale of Denver, CO; and his siblings, Dorothy Gruber of Williamsport, MD, Jean Groff of Williamsport, MD and Bobby Silvers of Newbern, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
