He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Leroy "Whiskey" Barr and Pauline Frances "Pete" Barr Griffith (Randall); and his sister Judith L. Butts. He is survived by: his wife Claudia J. Barr (Bowen); his daughters, Elena C. Keller (John K. Keller) of Ellicott City, MD and Emily S. Barr of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Maxx Keller, Spencer Keller, Anna Keller and Champ Summers; his pets, Bizzy and Kirby; his brother Charles "Eddie" Barr (Judy Barr) of Hagerstown, MD; and his brother-in-law Donald E. Butts of Hagerstown, MD. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
