She was predeceased by: her parents, Erby William and Rena Lee Shipley (Shackleford); her husband Preston Eugene "Flo" Knodle; and her brother William Richardson. She is survived by: her children, Patti Sease of Boonsboro, MD, Dena Miller (George) of Hagerstown, MD, William Dagenhart (Cathy) of Albany, GA, Linda Nokes (David) of Williamsport, MD and Michael Dagenhart (Crystal) of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
