She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Lizer and Dorothy Davis Lizer; her husband Richard Thomas Burger; her brothers, Edward C. Lizer (Hilda) and Robert S. Lizer (Bonnie); and her granddaughter Jessica Miller.

She is survived by: her daughters, Karen E. Beckwith of New London, CT, Anne L. Woody (Day) of Ellenwood, GA and Dorothy L. Kozura (Ronald). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
