He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Colleen Broadwater Pfaff; and his sons, Melvin L. Pfaff, Jr. (Linda) and David W. Pfaff (Cindy) of Clear Spring, MD. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren.
