It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin McNamee Sr. (Williamsport, Maryland), born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on March 8, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Lester and Helen Rebecca McNamee (Nail); his wife Dorothy Jane "Dottie" McNamee (Fuss); and his siblings, Mildred Benchoff, Catherine Wright, Calvin McNamee and Warren McNamee.
He is survived by: his children, H. Rebecca McNamee of Houston, TX, Melvin E. "Jimmy" McNamee, Jr. (Mary) of Cearfoss, MD, Randall P. "Randy" McNamee (Betty) of Williamsport, MD, Phillip F. "Phil" McNamee (Patricia) of Sharpsburg, MD and Wesley S. "Wes" McNamee (Karla) of Huyetts Crossroads, MD; his grandsons, Chad McNamee (Holly), Bradley McNamee (Savannah), Benjamin McNamee and Spencer McNamee; and his great grandchildren, Ethan, Carley, Colton and Cassidy.
