She was predeceased by: her parents, Bobby L. McElfish and Rose Mary McElfish (Smith); and her husband John Paul Zombro. She is survived by: her daughters, Courtney L. Swartwood of Oracoke, NC and Abby L. Zombro of Buxton, NC; her sisters, Rose Ann Zimmerman of LaVale, MD, Mary Cecilia McElfish of Jefferson, GA and Roberta Jean Teach of Williamsport, MD; and her grandchildren, Cory, Trevor, Reece, Lily and Chase. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering qualified families up to $9, 000 for funeral expenses incurred due to the death of a loved one from COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense grief for so many people.
