She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wagaman and Hazel Lorranine Duffey (Shoemaker); her husband Elston Franklin "Pete" Hess, Sr.; and her brothers, Virgil Leo Wagaman, Sr. and Lewis W. Duffey, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Elston Franklin "Butch" Hess, Jr. (Shawn) of Williamsport, MD, Teresa Zittle of Green Castle, PA and Suzanne Hernandez of Hagerstown, MD; and her brother James Duffy of Hagerstown, MD. She is also survived by her son and grandsons.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marie's name to the Fulton County.
