She was predeceased by: her parents, Franz Leopold and Gertrud Erna Passarge (Schmuck); her husband Edwin Eugene Stenger; her brothers, Werner G. Passarge and Frank D. Passarge; and her son-in-law Dr. Francisco "Kit" Japzon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stenger Moore (Craig) of Hagerstown, MD, Carol Stenger Mellott (J. R.) of Williamsport, MD and Ruthy Stenger Japzon of Hagerstown, MD; her sisters, Regina M. Taylor, Gundel D. Huffman, Hanna E. Secrist and Melitta G. Hoch; her granddaughters, Whitney Mellott Hoch (D. J.), Leah Mellott Davoli (Matt), Sarah Hensley (Robby) and Lauren Hensley; her great grandchildren, Lilli Hoch, Emma Hoch, Hannah Hoch and Jackie Taylor; and her sister-in-law Helga Passarge. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews.
