She was predeceased by: her parents, John Courtney Sr. and Willadean Courtney; and her brother John D. Courtney, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Melodie Deshong and David Joseph Diehl II; her grandchildren, Levi, Dakota, Alec, Abigail Deshong, Brooklyn, Jaxon and Carter Deshong; and her sisters, Marie Christina Robinson and Debra Bellon.
