It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arthur Brown Jr. of Williamsport, Maryland, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Sr. and Mary Russell Brown (Tabler); and his wife Dorothy "Jane" Hilliard Brown. He is survived by: his children, Julia B. Taylor (David) of Ferndale, MI, W. Jason Brown of Berkeley Springs, WV and Jerred A. Brown (Joan Bowers) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Chris, Danielle, Angelica, Josh, Kody, Tiffany, Jack, Gabby and Olivia; and his caregiver Melissa Lake. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Osborne Funeral Home (425 S Conococheague St, Williamsport, MD 21795). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Presbyterian Church (10813 Donelson Dr, Williamsport, MD 21795).
