He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Ann Sylvester (Gallowe); his children, Brian Sylvester (Jennifer) and Stacy Sweat (Scott); his grandchildren, Mason Tyler Sylvester, Brooklyn Jane Cooper (Caleb), Alexis Kathryn Sweat, Kayleigh Ann Sweat and Dominic Paul Sweat; and his siblings, Donna Penney, Robert Sylvester and Mary Ritter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
