He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jesse Miles and Lola Miles (Hawbaker); and his siblings, Ida Catherine Mason, Thelma Florence Burke, Alma Jeanette Johnson, Isabelle Lola Irvin, Louise Lorshbaugh Hager, Jesse E. Miles, Jr., John A. Miles, Sr. and Roger A. Miles.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Miles of Williamsport; his children, Cynthia J. Missling (Todd) of Falling Waters, WV, Jeffrey L. Miles (Sabine) of Williamsport, MD and Gregory A. Miles (Kristi) of Hagerstown; his siblings, Judith A. Burgan of Hagerstown and David L. Miles of Martinsburg, WV; and his brother-in-law Kenny Cunningham (Rayetta) of Williamsport. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
